Alois Jirásek

The Czech prose writer, playwright, politician, and high school teacher lived in Litomyšl for 14 years and served as a professor at the local grammar school. He is primarily known for his historical novels and realism. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature several times for his works.

Olbram Zoubek

A Czech sculptor and restorer who contributed to the development of Czech architectural sculpture, he lived alternately in Prague and Litomyšl. In the 1970s and 80s, he participated in the restoration of the chateau sgraffito.

The centerpiece of the interior is a generous living space connected to the kitchen and dining area, styled in an elegant combination of black and white—like an open book waiting for its readers.

A corner sofa bed invites you to relax, while a comfortable armchair with a small table beckons for a quiet immersion into the pages
of a favorite work. A Smart TV with internet connection is, of course, included.
