The Knights’ House (Dům U Rytířů), one of the oldest and most valuable buildings in the city, is the seat of the Litomyšl Town Gallery. Thanks to its original preserved facade and interior elements, it is considered one of the gems of Renaissance urban architecture in Bohemia. Its stylistic design reflects the artistic influence of the Pernštejn court in Pardubice. In 1958, it was declared a cultural monument.
